Thanks to the 40 hectares of green open space, Elara residents have more than 7 kilometres of cycling pathways and dog-friendly walking trails, 24 hectares of parklands, exclusive exercise spaces and huge playing fields.

$3.2 million water-themed all-inclusive playground

A water-themed all-inclusive playground called Livvi’s Place is open to the residents of Marsden Park Elara and neighbouring suburbs. The $3.2 million park and entertainment centre features a state-of-the-art facilities building, multi-play sports fields, an expansive water play zone with adventure features such as swings, slides, flying fox, climbable nets, merry-go-round, fun glider, trampoline loop, musical features such as steel drums, tubular bells and talking tubes and a basketball half-court. To make sure children with all abilities can avail the services, the facilities come with wheelchair-accessible structures, soft-fall rubber flooring, and sensory spaces with visual and audio stimulation.

Blacktown City Council collaborated with the Touched by Olivia Foundation and Marsden Park Primary School for this project.
